I was asked in an earlier post about a honeymoon hideaway. Where to go to find a relaxed,non tourist run area, with beautiful beaches and fantastic water.......check out Cat Island. If you want nightclubs,bars,casinos and thousands of tourists,Cat Island is not your place.
If you want gorgeous, pure white sand beaches that stretch for miles, crystal clear water, sun, long walks on the beach all to yourself, wonderful local people, fresh lobster and conch, fresh grouper,snapper & Mahi Mahi, Cat Island is the place.
Truly a magic place without the molestation of 1000's of tourists and screaming kids.
