I live in Cleveland, Ohio. My wife and I wanted to take a short trip to a big city. We were thinking about Boston or Toronto. We would like to go to Toronto but we dont really think theres that much to do there after researching it.
Boston looks like the place we are going to go to. But is Boston worth the trip? |

I've been to Boston before and I can tell you that it is nice, but it's not the greatest city in the world. Then again, it has been some time, so I might be mistaken. I love New York City. I really really love it there. It's an amazing city, there is so much to do and you really can just have an amazing time. You should look for a hotel off of Central Park, Park Avenue preferably, and you'll definitely have a nice time.

Well we've been to New York and we dont really want to go back. We only want to go for a few days and I think Boston will be the place we pick.

I think Boston would be a good choice. Since I live in the Southwest, I really enjoy all the big, old cities on the east coast that have a lot of history to them.
I also like Philadelphia and that might be a nice weekend trip, for the same reason. |

I would vote for Boston, there is a lot to do in the city and also in the surrounding towns and cities like Cambridge. Plus there is so muc history there!

One time I was in Boston for work and we spent some time in Plymouth, about 45 minutes to the south. That was kind of neat. We went to see Plymouth Rock, which of course is just a rock, but it's just one of those things you have to do!

I've been to Boston, & it's really not all that great. I've never been to Toronto, but I know some people that have been there & they loved it. I would probably opt for Toronto.

I say Toronto, get away from the US sometimes. Have a little time with the Canucks... try to visit www.luxurylink.com, they might help you with your travel plans at a good price. :P

There is lots to do in Toronto and it is quite safe for a city of its size. If you are into sports you could watch a baseball game between Boston and Toronto. As well if I am not mistaken I believe Toronto has the third largest number of live Theater performances in North America.

Well, both cities are very nice and definitely a great experience, but I'd have to go with Toronto. It is one of the cleanest, friendliest, nicest cities in the world in my opinion. It is the number one place I want to vacation in right now, especially when the weather is warm. You can't go wrong with Toronto, but definitely check out Boston sometime down the road too if you get the chance.
