We have done allot of traveling and I don't think you can beat this place for privacy and romance. It is for honeymooners or "romantic getaways". AI in Costa Rica. 2 people, only $3700 and you have a villa, plus 200 acre rain forest to yourselves - no other couples. They include gourmet chef, massages, driver. We did a sunset sail and horseback riding on the beach.

The place has a river, lagoon, ponds, and waterfalls everywhere. Tropical flowers and drinks we ha never seen or tasted before. Reeks of romance!!

If she doesn't like the tropics I would try something like Aspen where they can cozy up in a cabin with snow falling. (ok I'm a confessed romance freak!). Good luck in your search.

I think you forgot to tell us your country. Is your friend willing to spend money for out of the country?? if yes, I think the best place is Hawaii.
